The winter has been unseasonably warm so far, even in Arizona (Ha!). Heck with winterizing this year, just get out there! Enjoy!

Coming off a Triumph Speed Triple and using Our Triumph Bonneville for camping and longer trips we decided that a new bike was in order. We decided the GS fit the bill for the type of riding we are planning on for the next few years. First time out we did a 600mi run from Northern NJ through NY & CT to RI, NH & MA. By the time we got back we knew we made the right choice.

Riding with #1 Son, also an MOA member and avid BMW guy. A day trip from Butte to Hamilton over Skalkaho Pass and home via Lost Trail Pass and the Big Hole valley. Incredible scenery in every direction.

Tellico Falls, about 2 miles east of Tellico Plains, TN. Yes, the water is just as warm as it looks. LOL!

Dipping the wheels in the Mississippi River at Canton, Missouri on the way back to Colorado after the Des Moines Rally. The furthest East in the U. S. I've been in 32 years.

I awoke on Halloween morning in Suches, Georgia to find the frost had decorated my K1200GT.

On vacation we rode to Glacier National Park October 11, 2016. Heading up to ride over Logan Pass and just past this photo spot the road was gated; pass closed by an early snow system that hit the day before. Weather was cold & clear- really beautiful.

While on a warm spring ride in Patagonia we woke up to an unexpected snow day. Temperature dropped dramatically and road conditions worsened all at the same time.

My daughter Heather at Crater Lake June, 2012.There was so much snow, they closed the road through the park. This also marked the first and only time she gave in and wore the electric jacket I bought her.
Two hours later, the sun was out, the snow was gone and the road re-opened (and the jacket re-packed).

Myself and a rally master (David) at the Lago Bianco IBA ET 2014 bonus location (Italian Alps), on September 8, 2014 after about 34 h of riding. One more hour of freezing rain and a mountain pass descent and ascent to go.
