25th Gathering of the Clans

The Silver Anniversary!!!  Who would  have thought we would still be having this much fun? Airheads and other members of the motorcycling community are cordially invited to join us for this weekend of celebration at High Country Motorcycle Camp. Roads for any style of riding, plenty of shaded creek-side camping, clean hot showers, tech sessions, Friday and Saturday evening meals - All for just $45 per adult. Children are charged according to size and temperament. There is NO pre-registration, just arrive with money in hand. Anyone with older pictures from this rally are encouraged to bring them to share.

Getting there is part of the adventure. Map readers can locate Ferguson, NC to get some idea of where they are headed, the computer savvy will want to look at highcountrymotorcyclecamp.com or bmwairheads.org for maps directions and other info.

WARNING: GPS or Smartphones may or may not get you there, we have heard stories. There is definitely no cell service there. (This is in the mountains!)  If you really want the info, the address is 765 Stoney Fork Rd., Ferguson, NC 28624

The first turn to get to the campground is about nine miles south of the Blue Ridge Parkway OR seven miles north of North Wilksboro, NC following US 421. Look for signs with the BMW roundel, about the size of political signs seen in yards around election time. After making the first turn, all other turns are similarly marked. It is 16 miles to the campground after leaving US 421, it is highly suggested you have sufficient fuel, beverages and other supplies before turning off US 421. There are no stores along the way. PLEASE, check your tires before leaving home.
