About West38Moto
Adventure means something different to everyone. Whatever your adventure is, we want to help you experience it by developing your riding skills and boosting your confidence. Whether you are just making the transition from pavement to dirt or you have
been exploring off-road for a while, this training has something to offer all skill levels.
West38Moto offers an experience unlike other off-road motorcycle training and guiding companies. We recognize that not everyone functions well outside their comfort zone, while others want to be pushed out if it. People learn at different speeds,
in distinctive ways, and will reach individualized goals at their own pace. Because everyone must start somewhere, our focus is on teaching off-road fundamentals at your pace and expanding the size of your comfort zone.
Training with the experienced and talented staff from West38Moto, riders will spend three full days training and practicing the basics of off-road riding learning all the tools needed to transform your adventure, regardless of your skill level.

Starting with the foundation of proper body positioning, braking, and turning, riders will progress through a series of exercises designed to develop the skills required to master the “Triple Threat”, clutch, brake, and throttle. These are the backbone
of the program and carries into exercises such as:
- Controlled stops and skids using the front, rear, and both brakes together
- Balancing on the bike at slow speeds and body positioning
- Understanding body positioning and counterbalancing while riding slow around corners and obstacles
- 360-degree circles and figure eights
- Skid turns
- Climbing and descending turns on hills with obstacles and switchbacks
- Restarting and recovering from stalls on hills
- How to ride sand and mud safely and comfortably
West38Moto aims to help you ride safely and skillfully. Not all skills will be taught and will be based on available terrain and individual needs and progression over the course of training.
Now it is time to put those new-found or improved skills to the test. Day three of the session will find you hitting the trail for some actual adventure riding. Here is where it all comes together and is the key to the West38Moto philosophy. Practicing
what you have learned is the basis for skill retention. And with your West38Moto coaches along for the ride, the learning continues in a real adventure environment.
The scheduled dates of the event are:
- Check-in: October 23, 2022
- Training Days: October 24 & 25
- Riding Day: October 26
- Check out: October 27
Limited to only 10 participants, these lucky students will be treated to two full days of training and an additional day of off-road development riding putting those new skills to use. In addition to the training, lodging, dinners and event gift
are included in the $2,195 fee. Riders participate on their own personal motorcycle. All brands are welcome.
