The BMW MOA and West38Moto are excited to bring you a one-of-a-kind Adventure Getaway and training opportunity at Rustic 3 Step Hideaway. This unique event is scheduled for May 24-28, 2021 in La Sal, Utah! Come join us for three days of training,
riding and adventure on your personal motorcycle. Any and all brands welcome!
Limited to only 32 participants, these lucky students will be treated to three full days of training and off-road development riding, putting those new skills to use. The itinerary includes specific skill building exercises designed
to accommodate both beginner and intermediate riders. The $1,495 registration fee includes four nights of camping, dinner, and daily training options. If you prefer a self-guided ride instead of off-road training, $333/day will be deducted during
the registration process. Lunch will be provided to training participants and everyone receives a welcome gift and event shirt.
Our host location for the event will be the 3 Step Hideaway in La Sal, Utah. Located along the Utah/Colorado border, 3 Step Hideaway is surrounded on three sides by pristine BLM land. You’ll find off-road trails
in abundance right outside the front door.

3 Step Hideaway is a rustic (some would call it 'primitive') facility. There is a one-mile dirt road leading up to the Hideaway, so travel can become somewhat challenging during rainy season. Water is precious and electricity is produced by a solar power
system, which is sufficient for our requirements, but not limitless, so please bear this in mind. Conservation at 3 Step Hideaway is a priority.

Tent camping and meals are included in the registration fees. His & Hers bath house is also on property with water, toilets and shower facilities. 3 Step Hideaway has a small cantina and meals are included. There is no air conditioning, internet access,
phone service or television. Just riding and story tellin'!
Optional upgraded accommodations are available in very limited quantities. The charges on the registration page are for the entire cabin or teepee. Once purchased, you may
share as you desire with friends, riding partners, etc. RV camping is allowed at no additional charge, however, no hookups or service is available. Generators are allowed during daytime hours only!

West38Moto has built their training programs around one simple fact - people learn at different speeds, and in distinctive ways and want to reach their own individualized goals. They have designed their training to encompass both Level I (Novice/Beginner
training) as well as Level II (Intermediate) to allow for your individualized learning. They know that not everyone functions well outside their comfort zone, while others in the same class want to be pushed out of it. The specific training curriculum
includes:
Morning Session
- Body position and braking
- Body position and turning at slow speeds
Afternoon Session
- Sand training
- Hill training
Guided Ride Opportunities include:
Easy Novice Off-Road Moab Loop
- This ride will start at 3 Step Hideaway and take us through the La Sal mountains over Geyser Pass. We will make our way around and through Castle Valley and ride the famous Onion Creek Pass. We'll finish off with a portion of the Utah BDR below South Mountain and back to 3 Step Hideaway.
Intermediate/Advanced Off-Road Moab Loop
- This ride will start at 3 Step Hideaway and go over La Sal Pass. This is definitely an intermediate/advanced ride. We'll then make our way to Moab and out to Hurrah Pass. From there, we'll gauge time and see if we can make it out to Chicken Corners.
Our day will end with riding a portion of the Utah BDR below South Mountain before making our way back to 3 Step.
The cost to attend the MOA Premier Training is $1,495. This price includes four nights of camping, dinner each night, continental breakfast each day, lunch each of the three training days, a welcome gift and event shirt. The scheduled dates of the event
are:
- Check-in - May 24, 2021
- Training/Riding Days - May 25, 26, & 27, 2021
- Check out - May 28, 2021
West38Moto will tailor the training curriculum as registration progresses. You have the option to specify the type of training you desire on each day, including basic training, intermediate training, basic off-road rides, intermediate off-road rides and
self guided rides without the aid of training. On the registration page, make a selection for each day's activity. There will be options to adjust on site as needed. This
program is exclusive to any other existing discounts or MOA Foundation scholarship opportunities.
