This year we move a little further south to our new Vermont location, Sugarbush Resort in Warren Vermont. This 4000 acre, four-season resort is famous for being one of the largest ski resorts in New England and where the outdoor enthusiast can find abundant summer activities. Situated at the base of Mt Ellen, the third tallest peak in Vermont, Sugarbush Resort in located in the historic Mad River Valley. This is where you “come for the mountains, and stay for the valley”.
   
An area rich in history and culture is waiting for you in Vermont. With scenic Byways that have you traveling back in time through quaint villages and shires, over authentic covered bridges and passed spectacular waterfalls, this Getaway location will not disappoint.
During your trip, you might want to check out the Mad River Taste Place, where you can purchase locally-made culinary delights, visit the Artisan’s Gallery for a truly one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted creation, or visit the State Capital building in near-by Montpelier. Perhaps a different perspective is what you are looking for. If so, a birds-eye view soaring high above the valleys in the seat of a glider just might be the ticket.
And, of course, what visit to Vermont would be complete without a visit to the famous Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory. Tours are available daily and really, who doesn’t need a little ice cream?
The $99 event fee includes a Friday night welcome party and dinner with cash bar, Saturday night dinner and awards with cash bar, $500 worth of door prizes and a special MOA gift. Event fees are refundable if cancelled 30 days or more prior to the event. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to the event will receive a voucher for a future MOA event. Please visit bmwmoa.org/refunds for a list of covered events and circumstances that qualify for an event credit. The Getaway event fee does not include lodging. Please call the hotel directly or visit the hotel's website for reservations and cancellation policies. Hotel/lodging facility may have strict cancellation policies. Please verify these policies with the hotel prior to making any reservations.
Event registration and hotel rooms are reserved separately. The beautiful Sugarbush Resort will be the host hotel for our event. Room blocks have been established for MOA members with a discounted rate of $110 per night with an additional daily resort fee of 10%. These rates will be available through August 28 and based on availability thereafter.

Due to the popularity of the Resort, the property will strictly enforce its seven day reservation cancellation policy. Please be aware of the policy when reserving your accommodations as the BMW MOA will not be responsible for cancellation fees charged by the resort. The host property and the MOA maintain separate cancellation policies.
