22nd Annual Galena Campout

Set amongst the beautiful rolling hills of Northern Illinois, just minutes from the mighty Mississippi River is the family-friendly Palace Campgrounds. There you will find plenty of shaded camping, mini cottages, RV hook-ups, hot showers, and even a pool and sun deck. Break away from the traditional rally and enjoy what a true motorcycle campout is all about! Meet new friends while catching up with old ones, ride the incredible winding roads through the Amish backcountry of the surrounding area, enjoy tons of home cooked food under the big tent and s’mores by the fire in the evening. Friday night is our famous chili with all the fix’ins, and Saturday we crank up the BBQ for grilled chicken, brats, and plenty of delicious sides! A steady stream of coffee and lemonade is on tap, and in the mornings, there are pastries galore. You will find ample to do in Galena as it is home to some of the finest antique stores, wineries, restaurants, bars with live music, ghost tours, museums, and historic tours in Northern Illinois and SW Wisconsin. We will feature guided rides catering to all levels of skill on Friday and Saturday, with GPS routes available for download on our website as well as generous door prizes and a raffle.
